Lacuna Juice and Yoga Grand Opening in Denver | By Hannah Bittrolff

“The assists were just divine. Every time somebody came to assist me I could breathe more fully — I felt completely held, cradled and just taken care of,” said Holly Baier, who attended the Grand Opening yoga class at LACUNA. The yoga studio and organic juice bar is located in the RiNo district of Denver, and the only one of its kind. The bright, yet cozy environment allows for a calming dual experience.

First you can immerse yourself in their simplistic style studio for a vinyasa class, then you can reboot with your choice of organic pressed juices while chatting with friends. Owners (and husband and wife) Megan Whiteside and Trent DeMichele are able to keep their goals at the heart of all they do. They believe that “you get out what you put in.” With this in mind, their juices are organic, locally made and poured into environment friendly reusable glass bottles. lacuna

They encourage the same “give and get” mentality in their yoga classes. The vinyasa, hatha and katonah classes are made unique by the instructors and their desire to create new experiences. For most, this type of studio is exactly that — a fresh encounter. For others, it is a familiar affair that they hope is in Denver to stay.

“I want to see more of it…I used to do this back East where I would go to a yoga studio with a juice bar, and I haven’t found anything like that in Colorado,” said Holly.

Denver is in for a treat with this new studio style. LACUNA is cultivating a community driven space where connection can run deeper. So go flow, take a class. Then grab a juice and stay for a while.
