Itinerary: Arrive to Victoria Falls via Johannesburg May 10th — two nights at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Spend the first two days getting grounded and rested from travel at the beautiful lodge. After yoga each morning you have some freedom to explore! Spend a day at the falls, take a river cruise, or relax on the deck surrounded by amazing views.
From Vic Falls, travel to three different private safari camps by private charter plane, Somalisa Bush CampBumi Hills LodgeZambezi Expeditions Mana Pools.

Spend three nights at each camp. Days are filled with game drives and animal viewing, yoga & meditation, and time for relaxation. Each camp has it’s own unique location, Somalisa Camp is set in the heart of Hwange National Park, and is known as the land of the giants for its big elephant herds. Nestled in a stunning location tucked away on an acacia island along the edge of an ancient seasonal flood plain, Somalisa provides guests with breathtaking views of the savannah plains across the famous Kennedy Vlei line. Bumi Hills Lodge is home to lion, buffalo, elephant and much more. There are Black Rhino in the Matusadona National Park, just twenty minutes boat trip away. There is also a beautifully located spa where treatments are done with the full impact of the view over the lake. The legendary Mana Pools is known for its wildlife rich flood plains and magnificent views of the Zambezi River. One of the main highlights is a game drive along the flood plain in an open 4 x 4 Land Cruiser that takes you into the heart of an African dream abounding with the continent’s unique animals — eland, elephant, African wild dogs, water buck, big herds of buffalo, kudu, lion and leopard. Mana Pools also offers some of the most exciting and adventurous walking and foot safaris in Africa.

The group will be accompanied by a private guide during stays at the bush camps. Ian Batchelor, owner of Upmarket Safaris, has been guiding around Africa since 1992. He knowledge of the bush and animals is deep and is always determined to share his love of Africa with everyone and is committed to conservation. An amazing addition to this experience is the services of a professional photographer who has been published in National Geographic, available to document the entire experience! With this there is no need to worry about buying or bringing a fancy camera, or getting the right shot! Imagine coming home with beautiful photos of your trip and with you in them. Additionally, you will be given a personal photo book and dvd. The private photographer will also provide the option for you to order beautiful framed photos for your home.

After the time in Zimbabwe there is an optional add on to travel to Cape Town and explore this beautiful city as well as visit the amazing wine country! This is not a trip to be missed, start planing now!

“I have been lucky enough to go to Africa twice now, Tanzania and Kenya. Each time has changed me in a deep and profound way. My heart was blown wide open every day from the amazing landscape, the animals, the beautiful and engaging people. I am so excited to be bringing some of my favorite things together in this bucket list trip: travel, wildlife, yoga, meditation, and new exciting experiences with new friends!” ~Rachel Nelson
